NaBloPoWriMo Servo, Day 15: Half-Point Check-in
Well, Tom and I have made it halfway through the month and we haven’t missed a post yet. Whew. I’ve written 4193 words, for an average of roughly 280 per post, and Tom’s been in 63 photos. He voted, made cookies, used a glue gun, and learned how to knit. If only I could teach him how to do dishes or clean the bathroom, I think we’d be all set. But he and Crow are pretty good roommates.
Last night, Tom was a guest at my improv show, Friday Night Stage Match at Brave New Workshop, and he pitched right in.
First they had him sell tickets.*
Then he helped my friend Sami in the tech booth.
He’s a bit of a ham. But he made lots of friends, both among the improvisers and the audience members.
His newest friend is a fire hydrant,** though.
*Special thanks to Becky at BNW for giving him a job. Now he can start paying rent…
**Sorry, Michael, it’s not a parking meter. I’m still working on that.
